Calling MKNHS Members – Volunteers Requested for Bioblitz Event!

We have received a request from NatureSpace Partnership and Newt Conservation Partnership regarding their upcoming bioblitz event at one of their great crested newt compensation sites near Horton, Northamptonshire.

They are seeking moth and botany experts from MKNHS who can volunteer for a few hours to assist with species identification during the event.

The event will run from 5pm on Thursday 12th June to around 4pm on Friday 13th June and will focus on assessing how these sites benefit other species alongside great crested newts.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to biodiversity research and share your expertise. Please note, this is not a public event and is dedicated to conservation efforts led by NatureSpace Partnership and Newt Conservation Partnership.
