13^th Glossy Ibis: Flew from Emberton side of the road near the river, over the bridge and landed in field on the right facing church, Olney (BuBC)
11^th Marsh Harrier (m): flew along river from direction of Sherington Pits, and carried on over Bury Field, Newport Pagnell (BuBC)
11^th Woodcock: flushed from garden, Lathbury (BuBC)
10^th Marsh Harrier (fem/juv): flew around Black Horse Lake before lost from view Linford Lakes NR  (Chris Coppock/BuBC)
8^th Peregrine (adult): on fencepost for 45 mins by river Tove  where river is the county boundary; also 3 Great White Egret and 3 Grey Partridge see, same area of Tove Valley (Chris Coppock/BuBC)
4^th Marsh Harrier: Cream-crowned marsh harrier arrived from direction of Blackhorse Lake, had a look at the bund before perching in favourite tree.  Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
3^rd White-fronted Goose (1 adult, 4 juv): Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
2^nd Pintail (2m 3f): circled around in front of Otter Hyde before settling on the water on Heronry Hide of the bund. Good numbers of usual Gadwall, Wigeon, Teal and Tufted plus two large flocks of Greylag and Canada Geese flew in. Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)

30^th Otter (2): a pair of courting otters, watched for 30minutes from both sides of the lake, engaged in some vicious-looking courtship fighting, Broughton Brook Park: Magna Park Lake (Graham Lynham)

24^th Red Admiral: flying in Russell Street, Woburn Sands (Viola Read)
24^th Marsh Harrier (2, m/f): males initially flew in and perched in a tree at far end of the lake (Heronry side of the bund). Left the perch after about 20 minutes when it briefly joined the second bird before both came in to roost (Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
24^th Woodcock (5): roosting by the ivy bushes in the vicinity of the rusting containers, Little Linford Wood (BuBC)

18^th Marsh Harrier (m): Male viewed briefly flying into the lake, before perching in a tree on the far side of the lake opposite heronry hide. The first male I have seen here over the winter. With the two females, this makes three now visiting Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
15^th Jack Snipe: Bury Field, Newport Pagnell (BuBC)
14^th Kestrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Ring-necked Parakeets (4): around the back of the allotments, New Bradwell (Graham Lynham)

12^th Siberian Chiffchaff: A very pale bird associating with 4 or 5 Common Chiffchaffs and a Goldcrest, Ravenstone (BuBC)
12^th Pintail (m), Marsh Harrier: a smart pintail drake in amongst ducks and coots in the unfrozen water in front of heronry hide. Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
8^th Goosander (2f), Kingfisher, Cormorant: all in River Ouse at the edge of the Millfield, Stony Stratford (Joe Clinch)
8^th Goosander (2m, 1f): on R. Ouse near Mill House. One male flew off  leaving a pair remaining. Newport Pagnell (Martin Ferns)
7^th White-fronted Goose (7): dropped into ice-free hole on lake in front of Far/Heronry hide with big flock of Greylag and Canada Geese. Linford Lakes NR (BuBC)
6^th Lapwing – cold weather movement: Total of 446 mostly moving south/southwest through Tattenhoe, Bletchley and Furzton through the day, in singles and flocks of up to around 84 birds. (Harry Appleyard)
5^th Marsh Harrier: very dark with nearly white crown. Watched for 15 minutes, then disappeared, possibly into Stanton Low reedbed (Chris Coppock/BuBC)
4^th White-fronted Goose (7): Gayhurst Quarry (Martin Ferns)
3^rd Peregrine (2): Spent most of the time perched on one of the warehouses, but did fly about; one harrassed a cormorant. Broughton Brook Park. (Graham Lynham)

1^st Pintail (fem): still present by the spit. Willen Lake North (BuBC)
1^st Common Crossbill (16): A flock of at least 8 initially feeding in pines at the N end of Oak Wood; later as I was leaving the wood, 11 flew out and were joined by 5 others. These all circled together a few times before heading back into the wood. Rushmere Park (Rob Andrews/BuBC)
1^st White-fronted Goose (2 adults, 6 juvs): Initially 7 seen in flight, then landed with other geese. A bit later a single flew in and joined them. Could easily be a family party, with 2 adults and 6 juvs. One of the adults is gorgeous with much black on the belly. Gayhurst Quarry (BuBC)
