Knocking Hoe is the only National Nature Reserve in Bedfordshire. Flora and fauna are very special. Nationally rare plants include Burnt-tip orchid, Spotted Cat’s-ear, Pasqueflower, Field fleawort and Moon carrot. Also a good selection of downland birds.
