MKNHS Gift Membership

Giving the gift of membership is a wonderful way to share a love of nature and invite someone into the Milton Keynes Natural History Society community.

Buying a Gift Membership

  • Fill in the form below and our Membership Secretary will contact you by email to arrange payment.
  • Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a PDF gift voucher by email — ready to print or forward to the person you’re gifting.

Redeeming the Voucher

  • The recipient simply visits our website and completes the Online Membership Form.
  • On the form, they tick “MKNHS Gift Voucher” and enter the voucher number in the payment method section.
  • Their membership will then be confirmed by email from the Membership Secretary.
  • Gift vouchers must be redeemed by the expiry date shown on the voucher to activate membership.

Membership Details

  • Gift Memberships follow the same cycle as all memberships, renewing each year on 1st April.
  • Membership is £25 for adults (18+), free for those under 18, and free for 18–21 year‑olds in full‑time education.
  • All children under 16 must be accompanied at meetings by a responsible adult, and their details should be included on the membership form.

Terms

  • Gift Memberships are non‑transferable and apply only to the named recipient.
  • Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or other benefits.
  • Personal information provided for Gift Memberships will be handled in accordance with the Society’s Privacy Notice.

The name you enter here will be shown as ‘From’ on the Gift Voucher.
The PDF gift voucher will be sent to your email address.
The name / names you enter here will be shown as ‘To’ on the Gift Voucher.
Data Use Notice: The Society maintains a membership list to administer your membership and to email you newsletters, programmes, and Zoom links for Society talks. This information is accessible only to members of the Committee for these purposes. Your details are not shared with other members of the Society and are never made available outside the Society. In line with the UK Data Protection Act and UK GDPR, you may request correction or deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”) or withdraw your consent at any time by contacting membership@mknhs.org.uk.
