On Tuesday 18th August at 7.30 pm, Sue Hetherington will present a “virtual” walk around College Lake Nature Reserve via Zoom, to replace the real life one scheduled for August 15th but cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Whilst College Lake has now partially reopened, it is still not possible, practical or safe to set up a Society visit under current guidelines – but Sue had no issues with her individual visit should anyone wish to do the same, either alone or with a couple of friends or family. Sue will outline the history of the reserve and highlight the range of wildlife to be seen at this time of the year as well as indicating which parts of the reserve and facilities are now open.
