Volunteers at Great Fen are building dormouse boxes using Henry Stanier’s Brampton design.

Dormouse boxes provide shelter and a place to hibernate for protected dormice Muscardinus avellanarius and other small mammals. In addition, they are used to monitor the dormouse populations.
