The Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Environmental Records Centre (BMERC) have issued the following invitation:
Good afternoon everyone.
We are very happy to announce the date for the 2017 Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Recorders Seminar, which is Saturday 29th April. As is tradition we have booked the whole of the Coach House at Green Park.
We can’t promised flashing lights and Dolby surround sound but we are now working on providing an interesting and engaging line- up. Full details of the programme will follow in due course. For those of you who just can’t wait we can take bookings now, just email us at email@example.com with a completed in booking form ( blank copies in two different formats attached). Or if you prefer print a form, complete the information and return it to us at the address below. Again places are limited due to the size of the facility and the need to procure enough lunch and biscuits.
These events are a fantastic way for us to thank all our recorders and to catch up with many of you we don’t see very often, they are however under ever increasing scrutiny in a financial sense. We have managed to secure funding from our partners (thank you to all of them) to ensure that the next seminar can once again be run free of charge to attendees. We would politely ask those who wish to attend to respect that this is an expensive exercise; we would like to avoid the normal problem where people book in and don’t attend. Inevitably things come up in all our lives, so if you can’t make it can you please let us know so that we can free your place for others. Please note to allow us to effectively manage the day we will not be able to take new bookings in the last week before the event.
Thank you. The Claudia, Neil and I very much look forward to meeting many of you again in April.
